Summary:

What I learned:

Canopy-an overhanging projection or covering, as a long canvas awning, stretching from the doorway of a building to a curb.
Spanning-a distance, amount, piece, etc., of this length, of some small extent
Bait-a poisoned lure used in exterminating pests.
Malnourished-poorly or improperly nourished; suffering from malnutrition
Succumb-fail to resist pressure, temptation, or some other negative force.
Suture-a stitch or row of stitches holding together the edges of a wound or surgical incision.
Summary:
This article is written to bring awareness to us about New Zealand penguins, which are rare yellow-eyed penguin in the impenetrable forest hills. They are endangered and may get extinct eventually because of deforestation by us-humans.
